"I first bought bulls from Prairie Valley in 2011. In 2014, I went to just breeding red and black heifers to Charolais bulls and was invited to sell heifer pairs on their annual bull sale. I was always told that you can't breed heifers to Charolais, but I talked to Dave, and he pointed me in the right direction. I only use PVF bulls to breed my heifers now, and the calving ease and growth of the calves is something any cattle producer would be happy with. Working with Dave and everyone at PVF has been nothing but a pleasure. You won't find more honest and hard working people."

"Twenty-five sales ago, Clarence and Betty Mason came to Isabel and bought our high-selling bull, LT Unlimited Chaps. Clarence told me that summer that he wanted to have the best herd of Charolais cows in South Dakota. He and his son, David, have selected and culled and brought Clarence's dream to fruition. Clarence was a master stockman, farmer and cattle feeder. In addition, the thousands of cedar trees planted on their Prairie Valley ranch at Platte, S.D., were a tribute to his love of conservation. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Clarence was a true gentleman in every sense of the word, and comfort can be seen in all that he left behind."

"I have had the privilege and feel honored to have sold the Prairie Valley Farm Charolais bulls for the past 16 years. You will drive the wheels off your vehicle to find anything better than what they have to offer year after year. They do a fine job and are as honest as the day is long and just make it fun to work for them."

We are glad to have Prairie Valley Farms as our client and appreciate their high quality cattle production."

"We are a cow-calf producer in North Central Nebraska. We calve our cows out from March 15th to April 30th every spring. We in turn sell the calves out the last Friday in September. We have approximately 500 red cows bred charolais and 250 black cows bred until 3 years ago. At that time we bred 100 blacks to PVF Charolais bulls and that group weighed 55 lbs more than all steers and heifers. The following year we bred all steers and heifers to PVF Charolais bulls and that group weighed 48# heavier than all black the previous year. Hybred Vigor goes a long way when you use Charolais bulls on either black or red cows. We use quite a number of PVF Charolais bulls in our bull battery, with great success. Try 'em, you'll like 'em!!"

"We have used Prairie Valley Bulls for years and years and I can honestly say that come fall those charolais cross calves have never disappointed. And that says a lot about what the Mason Family has done with genetics. Those charolais cross calves are always big at weaning and once they hit the feed yard they never miss a beat, the true gainability of those calves shine once they are weaned. I dont know if you could ever convince me to switch to another breed after the success we have had with the Prairie Valley Bulls. The bulls are great but the people behind them are even better."

"We have a cow-calf operation, where we run 200 black cows. We use Prairie Valley Farm Charolais bulls for most of our bull power. We use them for the simple reason that they add frame and pounds to our calves. In the last couple of years our weaning weights have gone up 70 pounds on the average. We had char-cross calves weighing 700 pounds when we weaned the middle of October last fall. We sold calves the same week in January as last year, and our big end of the steers was 107 pounds heavier than last year, and all the calves were 50 pounds heavier on the average. Figures like those prove the genetics the Mason family has put into their bulls. The Mason's and their employees have always been great people to work or visit with, and we plan to keep working with them for years to come."

"Operating solely as a feedlot for many years we have recently got back into the cow/calf sector. After seeing first hand countless feeder cattle, we knew exactly what we desired in our herd. The superior performance of our PVF sired calves have matched or exceeded any calves that have come through our yards. Aside from performance, you gain a valuable asset in Dave who works tirelessly to improve his herd year in and year out. As you watch your new bulls enter your trailer you'll know you've made the right decision for you and your cows."
