Prairie Valley Farm is located five miles west of Platte, SD on
Hwy 44. It is owned and operated by Clarence and David Mason.

In 1980, Clarence began a Charolais herd, and now with the help of his son David and hired men Ron Sly, Rod DeGroot and Lloyd Timmerman have expanded his herd to include 200 spring cows and 100 fall cows. For the past 25 years, they have been selecting their top bull calves to sell at their annual bull sale in April. They also feed cattle and finish their own calves, marketing them on a value-based grid. The grain enterprise of Prairie Valley Farm consists of growing corn, wheat,
beans and hay.

On behalf of the Mason family we would like to THANK YOU for visiting our website. Please take some time to view the links at the top of the page and let us know if we can be of any help to you. Thank you to everyone who purchased our bulls this year!
